For pets from the USA, on the pre-travel path, present the animal, original passport, vaccination record or pet passport, original USDA-endorsed health certificate and printed import permit to the Animal Quarantine Station. Its accompanied-traveller exception instead allows the permit application at AQS with the required originals ready, subject to the operating airline’s boarding-document rule. For pets from the USA, the Thai consulate’s guide says the importer presents the animal and original documents for AQS inspection, and that Forms R-6 and R-7 are issued there.
