Editorial standards & method
This page is the source of record for how the directory and guides are produced. If the publication falls short of it, the correction is recorded in plain sight.
Research from public sources
PattayaPets is a research publication. We assemble and compare published information to make local pet care and international travel easier to plan. We do not conduct on-site inspections, test services or award personal-experience ratings. A listing establishes what its sources support, not the quality of care a pet will receive.
What we check
- The exact place or journey. A hospital group’s services do not automatically apply to its Pattaya branch. A rule for one country of departure does not become a rule for every pet arriving in Thailand.
- The best available source. Authorities and official forms lead travel guidance; operator websites and published policies lead business facts. Older or indirect evidence is identified rather than presented as a fresh operator confirmation.
- The date and the limits. A source-check date records when a source was reviewed. It does not guarantee present availability. A page update may improve its explanation without renewing every underlying fact.
Conflicts and unknowns
When official documents, language versions or operator policies disagree, we describe the difference and identify who can resolve it. We do not average conflicting limits or fill missing hours, contact details or operating status with assumptions. Records without sufficient evidence remain on hold, without verified labels, FAQ claims or LocalBusiness markup.
Use the research to make a decision
Compare the published scope, follow the source links and ask the provider about your pet, the exact service and your dates before booking. For clinical decisions, speak to a qualified veterinarian. We do not rate medical quality, diagnosis or outcomes.
Photographs and illustrations
Location photographs carry a credit and licence where required. A photograph shows a place at the time it was taken; it is not proof of current pet access or a visit by our team. Illustrations are labelled and do not stand in for documentary evidence.
Responsibility, tools and approval
Tim and Paemi are the principals and accountable publication operators. That project role does not establish who authored any individual route. Personal bylines, author metadata and creator claims require an approved route record in the versioned responsibility ledger; absent that record, they are omitted.
PattayaPets exists to help pet owners make safer, clearer local and travel decisions — not to manufacture search variations. Research, drafting and mechanical checks may use software or AI-assisted tools, but automation is never treated as a source, a field visit, a professional reviewer or publication approval. Consequential facts must still be traced to the evidence record and accepted through the publication review process.

PattayaPets is editorial and informational only. Nothing on the site is veterinary advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation or a substitute for professional care. If your pet is unwell or injured, consult a qualified veterinarian. No licensed-veterinarian review record is currently published for the health guide collection. Health pages stay at orientation and prompt professional care rather than present a treatment algorithm.
Import and export rules change
Pet import and export requirements — Thai DLD rules, airline pet policies, destination-country requirements — change without notice. We attach primary sources and a checked date to consequential rules, but you must verify the current rules with the official source: the Thai Department of Livestock Development, your airline, and the relevant destination-country authority. We say so on every guide.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it visibly. Spotted an error? See the corrections page for how to report it.
What we will never do
- No paid placements or sponsored tags.
- No affiliate links.
- No fake reviews or scraping of competitor review sites.
- No generic stock pet clipart.
The directory and guides are accountable to these published controls.
