Read on 14 October 2026: the pet-cremation temple lists of Baan Lae Suan Pets (published 5 October 2021, updated 10 November 2023) and MThai (9 June 2024), and MGR Online’s report on Wat Noen Sutthawat (26 July 2020). None of the temples publishes its own page for this. We have not visited them. Call before you go, and ask what they do now.
Temples near Pattaya that cremate pets
Sources: Baan Lae Suan Pets, MThai and MGR Online (in Thai).
What to ask when you call
- Do you cremate dogs and cats now, and on which days?
- Is the cremation for my pet alone, and can I take the ashes or bones home?
- Is there a short ceremony, and can the family be there?
- The cost for my pet’s size, and how to bring the body.
If you do not speak Thai, ask a Thai friend or your vet’s staff to make the call.
If your pet dies at a vet
Ask the clinic whether it can arrange a cremation. If it can, ask who does the cremation, whether it is individual, what is returned and the cost, in writing. For the time before, see saying goodbye to a pet.
